Summary
As a Hardware Engineer at LSI, you will propose, analyze, design, and implement PCB and mechanical designs to solve customer problems. You will implement the hardware as a team with the rest of the engineers in LSI leveraging technology assets across LSI and our partners when prudent. The products and systems you will be creating are in the communications, geolocation, PNT, EW, and SIGINT trade space. You will not only work with interdisciplinary teams including Business Development, Software, Systems, microwave circuits, and signal processing engineers but you will also work with customers to realize the systems of tomorrow.
Requirements
• Able to design and implement complex circuit designs using Altium, schematic entry, layout, drawings, and fabrication release
• Able to implement complex mechanical systems in solidworks
• Able to design and implement digital and analog circuits and systems from system level requirements
• Able to derive hardware requirements for associated signal processing firmware/software
• Able to manage time well and take large tasks from start to finish with little oversight
• US citizenship required
• Up to 25% domestic travel
Preferences
• Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years communications or EW system experience
• Able to simulate circuit designs using LTSpice and PSpice for TI
• Able to be a team player and open minded
• Top Secret clearance with SSBI/SCI
